FOODBANK HARVEST APPEAL

Trussell Trust Foodbanks supply three days of emergency food to local individuals and families in crisis. Frontline care professionals refer people who are facing hunger to the foodbank. As well as receiving nutritionally balanced, non perishable food parcels, people are listened to and signposted to agencies who are able to help resolve the underlying cause of the problem.

On Sunday 3rd October we are giving an opportunity for everyone to support this year’s Harvest Appeal for Chesterfield Foodbank. It would be great if everyone could bring at least one item from their shopping list on that Sunday. These are the items in most urgent need:

Long life fruit juice

Tinned fish

Tinned Fruit

Tinned Meat

Long life milk

Small packs - tea bags

Small jar - coffee

Tinned Rice Pudding

Chocolate treats

Soup
