HAVING TROUBLE KEEPING UP WITH US OVER THE SUMMER?

Yes it is the silly season with a lot of people away on holiday and all manner of activities going on over the summer.  The diary on our website is kept up to date so that is a good place to check if you're not sure where we are meeting on a particular week.  Cafe Church will be on at the Saints Coffee Shop every Sunday 6-7pm so if you can't make one of the other venues drop in there for worship, fellowship and chat over a coffee.  So what is happening? 

Well this Sunday 16th August Chesterfield will be meeting at the Assembly Rooms over the new Market Hall 10.30am. This is a temporary change of venue to allow for some painting and refurb at the Winding Wheel. Dave will be back from his holidays but Jayne's home group are taking the meeting.  Joan is leading the worship and we have been promised some drama so it will be a good time together.

Sunday 23rd August we have no Sunday morning meeting at the Winding Wheel because we are off to sunny Scarborough for the day but you can go to Cafe Church at 6pm.

Sunday 30th August there will be a Sunday morning meeting at the Winding Wheel at 10.30am but some of us will be off to the ONE Event at Lincolnshire Showground for the day.

Sunday 6th September there will be no morning meetings in Alfreton, Stretton or Chesterfield because we will all be together at Alfreton Party in the Park.  You will find us on site 10 -4pm with all sorts of free activities for children, live music and of course the tug of war competition.

Sundays 13th and 20th September Sunday meetings are back at our usual venues and times in Chesterfield, Alfreton & Clay Cross.

Sunday 27th September in Chesterfield will be a special celebration meeting following our free BBQ the day before in the grounds of the crooked spire.  Great worship as always followed by a message that could change your life for ever!
