WHOLE CHURCH MEETING TOGETHER THIS SUNDAY

This Sunday is a whole church meeting when our groups from Alfreton, Clay Cross and Chesterfield come together as one.  We are always looking for ways to bring the church together, whether that is by evangelistic events such as Alpha, BBQ or Party in the Park or by organising social events like the seaside day trips, Big Church Day Out, Saturday night socials and Christmas events.  Also by preaching and teaching in the different venues and by going around the home groups.  BUT nothing compares to the importance of our regular gatherings for worship and word together.

When we gather together as one church there is something special and dynamic about the occasion.  So please come along, take your place as part of the church, enjoy the fellowship, catch up with friends and perhaps find new friendships.  Set out with the aim of encouraging and building up the body.  Let's unite to glorify God together.

Please encourage others to travel.  I know people travel similar distances for work, shopping and leisure and this is so important. Could you encourage someone to come by offering them a lift?  I believe we will have a very special dynamic time, I trust life changing time for some, and I don't want anyone to miss out.

So I'm looking forward to a powerful celebration of the greatness of our wonderful God and with those who can stay afterwards I'm looking to enhance our fellowship further as we share lunch together.  Jesus came to give life - new life to the full.
