NLC JOIN CHESTERFIELD CHURCHES IN PROCESSION OF WITNESS

NLC joined Christians from over over 30 Chesterfield churches in the traditional Whit Walk or Procession of Witness through the town centre on Bank Holiday Monday.  The town comes to a standstill for an hour as the joyful procession weaves it's way through Chesterfield and this year around 2000 local people gathered along the roadside to watch the mixture of decorated floats, walkers and marching bands go past.  This year's theme was 'Love your neighbour' and we walked with the street pastors who were in their element.  We hope that Chesterfield feels that love of God through us all year long!
