BLESSINGS IN LOCKDOWN

What has blessed me during lockdown I was asked?

3 things; God’s Word; the Church and God’s creation.

God’s word in 1Cor.12.12 says “The body is a unit, though it is made up of many parts and though all its parts are many, they form one body.”

The Church teaching we have received on zoom has been by different people but by One Body and One Spirit, being urged to continue to grow and mature and to be His Body to each other and to the world.

Zoom at 2 was great to interact with others in the Body and to get to know each other better – each one contributing to the whole.

The blessings of Creation intensified for me during lockdown.  We could not travel far but even in my local area I could find trees, flowers, birds and pockets of green spaces where I could stop, look, learn, pray, drink in the beauty of it all and sing His praises.  Our activities may have stopped but nature can’t be stopped.  God gives us so much to enjoy and take pleasure from.
