NEWS FROM ZIMBABWE

Robert Mugayi reports

We have used this time of lockdown to help those in need in the local communities. We have been able to distribute foodstuffs to the elderly in Mufokose suburbs of Harare. The elderly have been the most affected by COVID and the lockdown and so we felt our responsibility to play our part in the community and help those in need.

As a church, we also  continue to assist  the government in disseminating information in the communities on areas to do with prevention to help stop the spread of the disease. This is helpful, as in Zimbabwe,

not all communities have easy access to the internet, TV or radio to hear the messages the are required to help reduce the spread of the disease.

Our prayers are with all nations of the world as we fight this pandemic together.
