BIBLE STUDIES FROM NLC LEADERS - PETER TOPLISS

Hi everyone, God is good!

Here are a few studies from our leaders in New Life Church, maybe one a day?

1. Be Sill and Know that I am God. Read Psalm 46. 

Vs. 1-3. Seem pertinent in the situation we are all in at present.  Emmanuel, God with us.  MT.1:23. Remember the fiery furnace of Nebuchadnezzar and that there were four in there not three! 

DAN.3:24-25.

V. 4.  The river speaks of the Holy Spirit. Living water not stagnant. JN.7:37-39.  The city of course, is Jerusalem. However, in the new covenant the New Jerusalem is the Bride of Christ, the Church. REV.21:9-10.  The Church is the temple of the Holy Spirit 1COR.3:16. It is from the living temple that the river flows and brings life. EZK.47:1-12.  What implications does this mean for us in these days?

Vs. 5-7, 11.  The benefits of the indwelling Spirit of God. PS.121.

Vs. 8-9. Meditate upon the awesome nature of the LORD so that we can have a firm foundation for our security.

V. 10.  BE STILL!  Cease striving (Let go, relax. Marginal reference NASB). Perhaps in these difficult days it is helpful for us to be still and learn to be rather than to too eager to do things.
