ALPHA COMING SOON
Whether it's friends gathered around the kitchen table, or a quick catch up over a coffee and cake, food has a way of bringing people together. It's no different at Alpha. Most sessions start with food, because it's great way to build community and get to know each other.
Then there's talk
The talks are designed to engage and inspire conversation. Usually about 30 mins long, it is a fun, interactive presentation. We explore the big issues around faith and unpack the basics of Christianity, addressing questions from 'Who is Jesus?' and 'How Can We Have Faith?' to 'Why & How Do I Pray?' and 'How Does God Guide Us?'
Finally, a discussion
This is probably the most important part of any Alpha: the chance to share your thoughts and ideas on the topic, and simply discuss it in a small group. There's no obligation to say anything and there are no questions that you cannot ask. It's an opportunity to hear from others and contribute your own perspective in an honest, friendly, open environment.
We usually offer a free taster session so you can come along and give Alpha a try with no obligation to continue unless you want to. This is a free two course meal followed by a short introductory talk.
