WHOLE CHURCH MEETING THIS SUNDAY
'Better Together' was a slogan adopted by those campaigning for Scotland to vote to remain part of the UK. They argued the benefits of remaining outweighed the reality of independence. In recent meetings God has been speaking to us about the benefits of working together for the Kingdom of God. We can accomplish so much more when we work together than when we work alone.
Martyn spoke from 1 Corinthians 12 that we are all important parts of the body of Christ. It's a picture of the church as a human body with each person having a specific place and role to perform. If the hand refuses to cooperate with the mouth to give it food it is the whole body that starves. Conversely, when the hand takes food to the mouth the whole body is nourished and fed including the hand. It's when we all work together, fulfilling the roles God has given us, that the church will really flourish and grow.
What does all that mean? It means you matter and it is important that you are there this Sunday. Let's come together in worship and see victories in the heavenly realms made reality and lives transformed by the power of God as each of us does our part.
