WE HAVE A GENEROUS GOD

 Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.’  (Luke 6:38)

Our God is always generous towards us in every way and he expects us to be just like him with everything he gives to us.  We are blessed to be a blessing to others.  Why?  Because God just wants to be even more generous to us.  As we give to others he is finding creative ways to give us everything we need.  As the scripture says above we even get to choose how blessed we are!

This has nothing to do with the amount we have to give.  Remember, Jesus said in God's eyes said the poor widow who gave her last coin into the offering gave more than the rich man who gave loads of money that he could easily spare without any sacrifice on his part. It's about worshipping God and honouring him in our giving not about how much we can give.

Thank you so much to everyone who contributed finances towards the expenses of the BBQ this year.  I know you responded to the prompting of God in your giving because through you God provided exactly what we needed to cover all the costs associated with this event - not too much and not too little which is a miracle when so many people were involved.

So stand by to be blessed because you have sowed into the Kingdom of God there will be a harvest in your lives......

And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus.  (Philippians 4:10)
