The Whittington Home Group enjoyed a fun evening out together at Matlock Bath last Saturday. We parked on the second level at Gullivers Kingdom car park then negotiated the path down with the agility of your average mountain goat! Believe me the walk back to retrieve the cars was considerably slower - at least for some of us. A wander around the shops found Ivan was delighted with his purchase of his favourite aniseed rock and Tom with some home-made strawberry jam. We met up outside the Riverside Cafe for a lovely fish and chip supper and then walked to the river to watch the firework display. Lovely time being church family together.
