LET'S GET READY TO RUMBLE!
My message on Sunday was about getting ready, get ready to rumble, get ready for God to do the amazing in our lives and in the church. Just before Christmas I was woken in the night and God spoke clearly to me: 'There will be a rain coming of blessing, favour and growth.' As with Noah, God said that we should do everything that we can do to get ready for what is as yet unseen and in holy fear build, build, build! We should put every structure in place for large numbers to come in. Build now and be ready.
So, I'm asking you to come on board, your commitment and faithfulness are vital and your prayer power. I'm believing for great growth, many people coming to Christ and added to the body.
So our desire is to develop every area and department of church family life.
We have a tremendous 15 Stewards and 15 in the Pastoral Care Team but we are looking for more for the future. Volunteers are needed for a Visiting Team to visit those in hospital or who are unable to get out and about. We will need a large creche team and extra helpers for J Team.
We are blessed with two music groups but extra singers and musicians would be most welcome. We are praying too for extra help with administration, for a catering team and more teachers to take training into the home groups.
Please pray that leaders will be raised up so we can also see more elders, deacons and home group leaders established. I'm praying that everyone in the church will find a fulfilling way to serve and be fruitful. So, praise God, come on board and help build the church with such an excellence, ready for God to open the floodgates of heaven and bring great increase to his kingdom! Dave Bunting
